Dogs and cats, you just can’t help loving them.  But, as much as giving you huge amounts of ‘unconditional love’ goes, being a 'doggy and/or moggy mum or dad' means realizing that life can now only go on if some minor adjustments are made … on your part, that is! So when you are ready to ask yourself the question – ‘Am I truly ready to share my life with a dog and/or a cat?’ - the checklist below might be a good place to start. What Is It About Men and Their Dogs!! Ok, so hold it right there fellas.....this could work equally well for us gals too! After reading this you could be forgiven for thinking that there is something a little deeper, if not a tad sinister in the phrase... by Larry Brallas I was amused to learn that nearly 1 in every 3 individuals spell the word German Shepherd incorrectly, calling them German Shepards instead. I am shocked that this breed of dog is so regularly misspelled, & I am even further amazed to realized that I write it like this for so lots of years. I have a dog his name is Max and he is a lovable and 'slightly overweight' Border Collie - this must mean, according to this article, that as his owner I have a problem due to his 'slightly over-weightness'.  Could it be that perhaps he is overweight because he is older and not as active as he used to be (much like me)?
