Everybody Can Appreciate A Simple Prank Gift

What do most people think of when they are trying to come up with a good gift idea? Usually they go around looking at stuff that they themselves might enjoy because they don't really have a clue what the recipient will enjoy. Another thing people consider is things that the recipient will have practical use for. But is this always the right choice?

I was making pasta tonight – which is supposed to be the simple old fallback, right? – when I saw that the recipe called for a “clove of garlic.” Stumped, I paused and pondered for about a minute. A clove? Is that what they call the entire garlic thingy or is that just one of the sections of the garlic?

LOL ! - After seeing this it quickly won favor for inclusion in our Daily Screw-Ups Fame Bin.

God blessed me with three wonderful children and, a large and fully fitted kitchen as well.
He blessed me too with a better half who (my deep appreciation and thanks goes to his mother) just loves cooking, and heaven love him, did 99% of the cooking, otherwise none of our three children would have survived once the Heinz Solids Baby Food In A Bottle was no longer an option.
Please don't for a moment think I did not care for or love my kids...I did. It was the kitchen and all that stuff in it that I could not seem to develop any sort long standing relationship with or affection for.

How many kids today have any idea of the fascinating History of the Apron?
Aprons were used to protect the dress underneath. It was easier to wash aprons than dresses and they used less material.
The apron served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the stove and oven.
It was wonderful for drying tears, and on occasion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears.
