Darn - I have to say I am in a way a little thrown at the fact that K Rudd has been so rudely taken from us and replaced with the brand spanking new, stern faced but equally attractive (!?!?) red-headed Julia Gillard PM.
I was just getting some pretty good material ready to be drip-fed onto Daily Screw-Ups for my K Rudd joke of the week/day/year - and bingo, before you could say 'red-head' ... K Rudd was gone!
Anyway seems Julia is going to be just as much fun to spend time laughing at, as was our Kev baby, and this little quip squarely gives us the confidenc...

No matter what side of the AISLE you're on, THIS is FUNNY and VERY telling! It just all depends on how you look at some things.
Judy Rudd an amateur genealogy researcher in Southern Queensland, was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that our then Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd’s great-great uncle, Remus Rudd, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Melbourne in 1889.
Note: Both Judy and Kevin Rudd share this common ancestor.

Proofreading is a dying art, wouldn't you say?
Three-way checks and balances are often used in business for good reason. You would also be forgiven for thinking that when it comes to newspapers, magazines, white papers etc, editing and proofreading would kind of go hand in glove !!
