Now I have to say that if this happened to me I would be more than ticked off, but I would be royally ticked off if I had to convince some brain starved 'I am a customer service agent nitwit' that I had not in fact pumped $81B+ dollars of gas into my cars gas tank.

When a commuter pulled in to get gas he thought the $90 he had on his PayPal debit card would easily cover the $26 bill.

The transaction, Juan Zamora told the newspaper, was recorded as $81,400,836,908. "That's a B, as in billions!" Zamora wrote in an e-mail to the Herald on Wednesday.

Zamora called customer service for PayPal, only to have to argue with the agent over the bill. "Like I had to prove that I didn't pump $81,400,836,908 in gas," he told the Herald.....Read Full Story

Children swapped for pet bird and cash

Having brought up 3 kids of my own I have to admit to being prepared to, at least on a couple of  occasions,  'give them away' .

An American woman is accused of trading two young children in her care for a pet cockatoo and $US175 ($269) in cash. The transaction for the 5-year-old boy and girl, 4, was negotiated by phone after Ms Greenwell spotted a flier posted at a livestock barn selling a cockatoo for $US1500 ($2309).
