While the wedding is the pinnacle of the bride-to-be's calendar, the Hen Night party beforehand can be just about as important for her and her friends.  Whether you are considering going out with one or two fellow naughty girls, or indulging in a night on the town with a veritable flock, the Hen Night activities have to be organised well ahead of time for the greatest enjoyment, regardless of how cheeky.

These are some hen night ideas, as suggested by www.cocky-hen.com.

First, the oldest idea is still one of the best: the pub crawl.  Find a local stretch that you and your friends are happy going to and hit the pavement.  Take care to pace yourself: it would also be a good idea to tell the pubs beforehand of what you have planned.  Keep a designated driver and remember to always stay in a group.

As well, don't be too concerned about followers!  You are part of a large group having the night of your lives, but if you are searching for some more friends, be wary of who you decide to bring home to roost.

Second, a vacation abroad can open lots of doors! Organise a trip to another country for the weekend.  Maybe you could hop to different parts of Europe, the Isles or possibly even the States.  The downside is of course the cost, but the memories of the trip will be cherished forever. Plus who knows what adventures you and your fellow hens will discover. Also, its a badly kept secret that we tend to shed our inhibitions when we know no one knows who we are.

While not as overstated as a weekend overseas, a road trip can also prove to be just as exciting!  Travel to your favourite places with your favourite friends and enjoy some last minute fun.  Maybe a local amusement park or beach you haven't visited in ages.  Perhaps even something as simple as a camping trip can be enough to sew those wild oats.

Indulging in some decadence is also something few hens can resist.  Take some friends and spend the weekend at a health spa or resort allowing someone else to do the heavy lifting.

Just the thing to banish of those pre-wedding nerves!

Finally, an event as simple as a night out at a concert or local comedy club can liven up any night.  Make it an evening of music and fun times to jazz things up before the big day.

  6. If heading out to a bar together it is sometimes worth calling in advance to ensure that large groups such as a Hen Party (or Stag Party) will be allowed in, some establishments do not cater for big groups.

  11. Ha great! Some really nice ideas here for hen nights. Just make sure it’s not just before the wedding as alcohol can help with nerves but it can also exacerbate them too, especially in the ‘hangover’ phase!

    Thanks
