Bob Has Shingles

Another chuckle for the Daily Screw-Ups Fame Bin - this time it is about Bob and his 'Shingles'.

Seems these days that 'people businesses' more than ever, are becoming like assembly lines! Seems too that 'people service based businesses' are actively making it their business to follow suit.

What is astounding - is how so much, can be so misinterpreted, by so many....so very often. Oh, and how often can you remember when because not enough information was obtained, confusion merrily set in.

This little tale, although probably not true, kind of explains this problem beautifully...enjoy!!

Those of us who visit our doctor's on a regular basis may appreciate this!

Here's what happened to Bob:

Bob walked into the doctor's office and the receptionist asked him his name.

Bob said: Bob. She then asked him what he had.

Bob said: 'Shingles.' She wrote this down, telling him he would have a bit of a wait, and asked if he would like to take a seat.

About 10 minutes later a nurse's aide wandered out and asked Bob if he was the guy with the 'Shingles'.

Bob said: Yes. Asking Bob to follow her, she led him into one of the examining rooms, excused herself and left.

After another 10 or so minutes a doctor came in and found Bob sitting patiently in the examining room, he asked Bob what he had.

Bob said, 'Shingles.'

The doctor asked, 'Where?'

Bob said: 'Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload 'em??'
